There are five categories of restricted items.
No weapons, no explosives, no alcohol, no fireworks, and no large bags or items greater than a standard size backpack.

Parliamentary Protective Service personnel will be screening for these items.
Visitors who attempt to bring restricted or illegal items onto Parliament Hill will be denied entry.
