Where are the entrances and exits for visitors wishing to celebrate on Parliament Hill?
The main entrance for visitors to Parliament Hill is located at the corner of Kent Street and Wellington Street, which is next to the Supreme Court of Canada. Visitors will enter the lawn of the Supreme Court and proceed to the screening area behind the Confederation Building. Visitors can exit onto Wellington Street through any parliamentary gate. Re-entry is only permitted through the main entrance.

How early should visitors arrive if they wish to celebrate on Parliament Hill?
Visitors are encouraged to arrive at least two hours in advance. There will be one main entrance to Parliament Hill, which will be open on July 1 at approximately 7:00 a.m. until midnight.

Can visitors bring their pets onto Parliament Hill?
Normally, pets are permitted on Parliament Hill but not during Canada Day. Visitors with authorized service animals should use the accessibility entrance.
